I love music.
That is a good way to sum up my 10 years as a musician. Starting in middle school, I took an interest in playing music, so I joined my school's band program and got an electric guitar for my birthday the same year.
Later in my high school life, I gave lessons on various instruments, and my love for teaching began. Those I tutored found themselves in honor bands, getting high marks on solo and small ensemble performances, and pursuing their own careers as musicians.
I attended Campbellsville University in central Kentucky for a few years to obtain a music education degree. However, I soon realized that the school system is not where I need to teach, so I left to pursue a different field. I began studying audio engineering at the start of 2016 with RRFC: Audio Institute and at Deadbird Studio in Louisville, Kentucky.
Recently, I have participated in a variety of ensembles from gigging blues, rock, and metal bands to orchestras and jazz combos. I have also started my own small recording studio where I specialize in demoing and marketing young talent and partner up with local studios as a recording and mixing engineer. My experiences have lead me to give many musicians a strong foundation to start their careers, regardless of the career path they choose.
